On Sunday, February 24, 2013, Speed Rack returned to San Francisco! Ladies from The bay area came to compete including many of last year's Competitors including Keli Rivers, a wild card winner in 2012. The newly opened venue The Chapel was packed. Guests enjoyed the action from several viewing areas including the balcony, where extra bars satisfied their thirst. Over 400 guests were treated to sponsors’ punches and cocktails, as well as beer and nonalcoholic offerings. Host Chris Patino returned to his native California to entertain the crowd. The judging panel included San Franciso's finest palates, Debbie Zachareas and Martin Cate as well as industry leaders and honorary San Franciscans Charlotte Voisey and Jacob Briars. Cate auctioned off limited edition pink Smuggler's Cove t-shirts to raise more for the cause.

Competitors were supported by an A list group of barbacks from San Francisco's top bars.

The competition was close an the judging was intense. Victoria George, newcomer to the cocktail scene, and Claire Sprouse, industry vet, were the last 2 standing after 6 heats. George prevailed with a difference of 1 second. San Francisco raised over $11,000 for breast cancer research, education and prevention!
